From big to small, multitudes to few -- let's see what you've picked today! :cheer:

Here's a bowl of Azoychka (yellow) tomatoes, Franchi Red Pear tomato, Burpee stringless green beans, Janice-Kadota figs, and a 10-inch Pineapple Papaya (Babaco) ripened four months early by the Santa Ana winds.

This weekend November 4, 2007: volunteer grape tomatoes, fuyu persimmon, wonderful pomegranate, thyme, tarragon, bay leaf, fuji apple, Anna apple (this tree never stops, I need to pull off the leaves and cut the blossoms off in December to give it a dormant period), haas avocado (not quite ready, but my son knocked it off the tree with an errant baseball throw), meyer lemon, basil and a pineapple guava (but i don't know when it's supposed to be ripe).
Great question Richard, I think I took for granted how much I get to harvest even at this time of year!:woohoo:

Well, here in the Pacific NorthWET the rains are starting this week and temps dropping to freezing so tomorrow morning I'm heading for my winter place in Mexico. The garden has been to put to bed, but there are still a few raspberries clinging to the canes, a few strawberries, rainbow chard, all kinds of herbs, a few pears left on bare branches, and a few figs. However, from the garden I'm taking with me walnuts, delicata squash, all kinds of dehydated fruits and a large variety of home canned fruits, veg, salsa, relishes and preserves. Any one else into preserving?

It's decidedly cooler this week and things are slowing down in the garden. We picked just one tomato today, but it made up for it by being a 1 pound, 4 and 7/8 ounce Cherokee Purple!
