I hope your ferns bounce back this fall. My ferns, from my grandmothers gardens, were destroyed this year by two boys fighting over a garden hose. They tugged the hose back and forth across the north side of the house and ripped out the ferns and columbine. I was very saddened and angry, however, two months later the ferns have resprouted and I think they actually spread?

I hope that they do come back because they look worse than before. Thanks for the encouragement. BTW do you know what the (Karma:# red & green thumbs) that is located at the top right corner of the replies are?

hi ceaves,
the green and red karma 'thumbs' are for saying "good job - green thumb" or I didn't like that "red thumb"
I like to think of it in terms of giving a thumbs up whenever someone helps you or someone elseB)!
thanks and good luck with your fern.
