tomato leaves are poison -
And, what is the reality?
tomato leaves are edible and add nice flavor to soups and stews, jut like anything else, you should only use them in moderation -

Do you have a gardening philosophy you would like to share with other gardeners? What is it?
For me, gardening can be a very spiritual experience - from seed you can assist that greater force in birth and growth of life sustaining nutrition. We can also share our gardening time with friends, both old and new, as well as sharing our time and companionship -
If you could grow only one plant, what would it be?

What plant have you tried to grow that has given you the most trouble? Or, what plant would you like to grow and can't, and why?
cucumbers - its just too dry here in Southern Ca to keep them healthy and producing -

early morning - its cooler and quieter -

blue/purple hues -
What is your favorite place or activity in the garden?
working with herbs, I love all the smells mingling -
What individual has influenced your gardening interest the most? How?
my grandfather shared his love of gardening with me from the time I could barely walk the rows behind him. He grew wonderful tomatoes, I can still taste them 30 year later. He grew flowers for my grandmother (and pollinators) and quite a few veggies that he rotated. -
