    Physocarpus, Aronia melanocarpa , Leucothoe, Lindera, Clethra, Ilex verticillata to name a few!
  • Who is your own favorite gardening personality on TV, radio or in print? Why?
    Bill Cullina - his books are my new bibles and his articles on propagation and gardening are well written with a sense of humor. He doesn't take himself too seriously.
  • Do you have a gardening philosophy you would like to share with other gardeners? What is it?
    Native, sustainable, organic. Plant large swaths of the same plant for big impact.
  • If you could grow only one plant, what would it be?
    clover...it supports the bees and improves the soil
  • What plant have you tried to grow that has given you the most trouble? Or, what plant would you like to grow and can't, and why?
    asiatic lilies due to the red lily leaf beetle. I yanked them all out last year and burned them. Not too upset since they're not native!

    my own because it's truly mine since I am the one who made all the decisions and did all the work. Plus, I can go into it any time I want.

    My mom - she gave me a pack of seeds when I was seven and I never looked back.
  • Gardening Dilemmas
    I have about an acre to landscape and don't have enough time or funds to get it done for next summer's at home wedding. (Will try though!)

    Not having enough energy to do everything I want in a given day.

    Being outside and interacting with nature.
