Join us at Roger's Gardens from 6 to 7 PM as we announce and celebrate the winners of Orange County's 2010 California Friendly Garden Contest. Meet the contestants and learn about their challenges and successes during a relaxed evening of good wine, light refreshments and garden inspiration. The evening will be include a short keynote address, a brief presentation about California Friendly landscaping and be capped by the awards announcements and presentations.
Now in its fourth year, The California Friendly Garden Contest rewards gardeners with smart and sustainable landscaping that is designed in harmony with the surrounding environment. It uses beautiful, less-than-thirsty plants and efficient irrigation and may include organic principles, wildlife habitat, a reduction in water run-off and other similar benefits.
