Pruning

Can anyone tell me about pruning back my kangaroo paws, some are still blooming other have dried up I assume for the season, do I cut them back hard to the ground or only cut off the dead buds?

I can only tell you what works for me. Once the bloom is dead for a particular stalk, I cut said stalk off at the bottom. New stalks grow from the bottom. By the way, Kangaroo Paws are useful in flower arrangements fresh or dried. Good Luck
