Flowers

I have 3 alstroemeria plants in my garden and they all grow excellently. However, 2 of them produce beautiful mauvish/lavenderish and white flowers while one just grows stalks without any flowers at the end of the stalks. Any suggestions?

Hi Jim,
Your alstroemeria just needs a bit more encouragement, but you have to be brave to do this. Take that non-blooming stalk firmly in hand and give it a yank. You'll end up with a handful of stalks which you can toss in the mulch pile and before long your plant should start to produce some blooming stalks.
