Weeded at night

It really was yesterday. I'm up too late as usual. I've neglected my garden, so told myself "You can spend at least 5 minutes in the garden". I went out about 11:10 p.m. so by the time I came in and cleaned up it was close to midnight. I enjoyed not having to put on sunscreen and wear a hat. Best of all, I made a dent in the weeds.

You really did not say much on how you could see that late at night. I don't think there was a 'full moon'. I have never used them in a situation like this but you can buy a pair of glasses with 'head ligths' on each side. They have a tiny battery built in, and the light they give out is quite bright. I have also seen them without the 'glasses' part, just a 'nose bridge'. Kind of neat for working in low light situations.

I too love to weed at night. The other night it was a full moon and I couldn't sleep. About 1am I started pulling a few weeds in my poor neglected garden. Next thing I knew the sun was rising. It was so mystical. Plus no gnats to bug me. I would show pictures but after 95 minutes of trying and following directions I have given up uploading any photographs.

It's been a long time since I entered that comment. Thanks for reaching out. My garden is a strip about 2' by 20' along my neighbor's fence on the alley. I can see because of the street lights. The weeds are temporarily winning again.

I planted a whole new bunch of Marigolds for the winter.
My mother helped me a lot and we are very excited.

A tip for pulling weeds is to give the weed bed a good watering the night before.
With the ground thoroughly soaked, the soil will be softened and will yield the entire weed plant, root and all, just let the weed puller tool help you with that.
