Helped my son (and new puppy) harvest some Daikon

Gotta love growing daikon in the winter in So Cal, my 7 year old just can't wait to pull these giant radishes out of the ground! What did you do today in your garden?

What a lovely child and radish. Does he eat them too? My 6 year old is starting to watch the strawberry plants. She thinks that because the leaves look green they will produce. I cannot get her to understand that just because the snow melted, does not mean that the earth has thawed.
