I'd like to try an grow star fruit, I live along the coast in San Diego, I'd like to know if anyone has any cultivars or varieties they could recommend?

The Carambola cultivar \"Arkin\" would probably love it in full sun at your home up on the hill in Point Loma. Feed and water it like citrus. Inland, Carambola's need mid-day shade when temperatures get into the mid-90's or above.

Another successful Carambola is \"Golden Star\". It is rumored to be a seedling of Arkin.
