ID this succulent?

I got this succulent about a year and a half ago and it's got a ton of babies around it now. I call it my alien plant. It's been slowly flowering now and I LOVE the flowers on it! But I have no clue what it is and have had 0 luck finding out. Anyone here know what this is besides odd and lovely?

that's so funny, my wife and I were walking our dog last weekend and saw that exact plant and thought that was the coolest plant ever! I may have a person who would know, I'll ask her.

It looks like some sort of echeveria from the bloom shape and color. Succulents are what I miss most about California gardening. I grow some here, but have to bring them in over winter; it's just not the same.

Thanks for the info! I already figured it was an echeveria of some sort. I don't mind the invasive part. It's in a pot and I let the babies grow with it, but pull out any that try to grow elsewhere. I think it's a great plant-for an alien plant that is!
