leaf curl

I have leaf curl on my Mexican Lime Tree. The tree is about 8 years old and once the leaf curl started, all of the leaves have dropped off. Even the new growth has curled leaves, which drop off quickly. We have tried spraying with neam oil, and with a soap solution. They were no help. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm eagerly watching for clues about your leaf curl from other members. I have the same thing with my Meyer lemon.
I'm glad you asked the question. Sorry I can't help.

I was recently at Walter Andersen's nursery in San Diego with a neighbor of my who had something similar happening to her Tangerine along the coast in san diego.
The person at Walter Andersen's said it was some sort of new bug (i can't remember the name) and suggested a very specific treatment - he said nothing else was working on it. Maybe you should call Walter Andersen's and ask, they have a listing here www.themulch.com/index.php?option=com_mt...k_id=2170&Itemid=174
Sorry i can't remember the name - i'll try and ask my neighbor.

I asked my neighbor and she didn't remember the name of the bug either, but what the nice guy at Walter Andersen's suggested was SEVIN - i hope this helps.
