Syringa meyeri 'Palibin'

'Palibin' lilac is a fantastic small (3-4' high & wide) deciduous shrub with the following attributes:
1.) fragrant orchid pink spring flowers
2.) small (fine-textured) medium green leaves with some burgundy fall color
3.) disease-resistant - important for growing in the Willamette Valley of Oregon
4.) deer-resistant
My 'Palibin' lilacs are slow-growing and seem to thrive in less than full sun. I give them a sprinkling of lime in the spring to correct my heavy clay/acid soil, and when I have it, a manure mulch. That's all.
