Delphinium elatum 'Chocolate'

Well, it's been a long time since my original post. I lost all my bookmarks so kind of forgot about The Mulch and I'm finally getting back here. This plant has turned out to be a big disappointment. The blooms are an ugly mottled and splotched brown, not a delicious chocolaty brown or as described: "The flowers are a chocolate-sundae blend of colors from cherry pink through cream to semi-sweet chocolate tones. Nor did they get any taller than 3-4 feet. They've hung in there but haven't thrived. I've moved them to another bed recently to see if a change of soil and better light will make any difference.
