over wintering peppers

Last winter i brought in a pimiento, and it over wintered nicely, even produced a few peppers. I now have that pimiento and two bell peppers in pots that I want to bring in. My question is, can I just keep bringing them in winter after winter, with some trimming and fertilizing? Or will they get too \"tired\"?

Peppers are tender perennials that can over-winter for a number of years - provided their roots remain healthy. For the long term, its not an easy task. In Aurora CO you could start seeds in April with an inexpensive bottom heating pad and have glorious plants in the summer. I am very fond of baked Pimientos stuffed with a turkey-pine-nut loaf.
