Iceberg Head Lettuce

yes i have a prob this is my first time attempting iceberg head lettuce and some of my plants look good to me but looks like i lost one it died on me there are like to other that are getting sick or bug damage maybe to much water it has been raining often here in southern michigan i have a picture of one maybe someone has a idea whats up with them the other stuff im growing looks great green huge growth but heres a pic of my lettuce hope someone has a idea on it why it is orange on the edge of leaves dont look real healthy to me

Sorry there, when I saw iceberg I thought you were in California where most of the questions come from!

That said, I can't see the extent of damage in the photo. If you started it from seed, sometimes there are plants that just don't thrive as well as others, you get lots of variation. Sometimes you get a dying back of the first leaves and then a flush of new growth.

But what this does look like is tip burn. Did you have a hot spell like we did in Minnesota at the start of the season?

Since your others are doing well that I don't know any other issues without seeing a comparison photo of the good ones.

Otherwise lettuces have very few problems and the major one is slugs and that is evidenced by chewing.
