Chiltapas tree

It has been real easy to see how much our climates have been changing. Over the years I've carried the Chitalpas (both whites & pinks) in my nursery. Years ago, like clockwork, these trees would always go completely dormant. Curiously, the past couple of winters they would be holding their foliage for the most part. Definitley have been milder winters out my way. Even in a normal winter, I would think that a Chitalpa would hold most, if not all of it's foliage, especially as far south as you are. I'd be interested in hearing back about feb to see if it went completely dormant or not. None the less, a very nice tree!
