I have a 12' high Calodendrum capensis that has been languishing (no new growth) for a couple of years. It is in a full sun location in soil with a lot of clay. Any suggestions?

Hi! --
The clay soil might be the problem -- you might try working in some organic amendment and a balanced fertilizer and of course keep it regularly and thoroughly watered. This is a tree that is often gawky and stubborn when it is a young seedling, but it does improve with age.
