What type of Hostas will grow in my zone 8a?

I know that Hostas are mainly shade plants and there is a very large verity. Im wondering what types will do well in my zone 8a in a shady area, but still very bright (not a dark shade).Also does anyone have any suggestions on some evergreen perennials that flower for my zone? Thanks.
