What is my "Zone?"

I just moved to Whittier, CA and I'm not sure what my planing zone and Sunset Zone are here. Can anyone help me? Thanks!B)

Hi franceswoodring,

thanks for joining! Here's a link to an article which can help you find your gardening Zones - may I suggest you use the Sunset Zones if Possible - let me know if you have any other questions.

Although I had to fiddle around with the zone info because I'm in Calgary, it was fun delving further into that site to find out what would grow well where I live. I'm all gung ho about next Spring! :)

USDA probably 9a or 9b
Sunset zone 23. I agree with others try to use the Sunset zoning system, they get into more precise areas, and tend to be more into the 'Micro Climate' information.
