New here: have a few questions

Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to this site, I've been gardening in rockland county NY for two years now I love daylilies vegtables and pretty much any perenniall.
I also Really love taking photo's of my plants. I was very excited to find out that my photo of the Astilbe by the creek is a finalist in this months photo contest.

So now that I've introduced myself I want to know what is the best time of year to move dayliles without sacrifising blooms?

Most people agree that late summer after daylilies are done blooming is the best time to divide. Make sure you do so at least 6 weeks before your average first frost date so that they can get re-established and you don't get winter kill. You might even want to mulch a little more through the first winter after division. You may not get a lot of blooms the first year after dividing, but they should at least have some flowers.
