Hello,
I live in So. California, so I don't claim to be 'expert' on Hibiscus in Florida. But we do grow lots of Hibiscus here. There are a few things you can consider.

First be sure the soil drains well, they do not like to sit in water.
Also be sure you are not watering too often and keeping the soil too wet. Being too wet can cause yellow leaves.

Iron defiencies also can cause yellowing. If the leaf is yellow with green veins, this can indicate lack of Iron. You can probably buy an Iron suppliment or use a plant food fairly high in Iron. Usually about 2% to 3% is about right to keep them green if there is not enough Iron in you soil.

If the whole leaf is yellow, I would suspect you are watering too often, let the soil dry just a little between watering.

Full sun is best for Hibiscus, the more shade the fewer blooms, generally
