My Naked Lady plants are blooming with the ususal pink color. However, I cut a couple stems off and brought them into the house. Surprisingly to me, after several days the buds that opened in the house were WHITE in color!!! Does anyone know what happened?? Thanks..John

Naked Lady's do come in white, pink and pink & white. Generally, there is one flower from each bulb. If you cut buds that opened to white perhaps you have assorted bulbs. Amaryllis belladona are carefree and easy to grow but I have had summers when mine do not bloom. I am not sure why but always happy when the next year they show up again.

Perhaps I didn't make it clear, but the stems I cut off and brought into the house were already blooming with about 3 buds left to open. When I brought the stems into the house the blooms that had opened outside were pink but the ones that opened inside the house were white.
Re: the not blooming at all, this happened to me a few years back right after Attorney General Ashcraft had robes placed on the naked statues in Washington D.C and I decided that he had decreed that those plants WERE NOT TO OPEN!! Since he has left office they have bloomed each year.

Sounds like it might be a light situation? Although I've seen dark pink ones growing in a canyon under a Sycamore tree and the ones I have growing in dappled shade are all pale pink with some white.
When you were cutting the stem, did you notice if the unopened buds were the same darker pink or lighter? That would be the other piece of information to determine whether it was the light change.
Just taking a guess here.
