Thank you for the congratulations! Actually I don't know when they will be ripe, since this is the first time I've tried growing cherries here in Encinitas.
The Lapins isn't one of the new "low-chill" cherries. It's the one that's rumored to fruit down here though.
But I'll have to protect the tree so that the birds don't get the cherries before I get a chance to try them.
