Well I just happened to be reading one of my favorite gardening/homesteading magazines today..

I read the following tip that I did not know when it came to vegetable gardening.

Apparently planting borage next to cucumbers will repel the infamous cucumber beetle.. I did not know that one... It has something to do with it attracting large bumble bee's to the garden. Apparently the little cucumber beetles are scared of them? Who would have guessed??!!

Anyhow I'm going to give that a try this year and see how it progresses. I all ready have borage sprouted. I just need to go out there and get the cucumber seeds on their way too.

Just thought that anyone out there that is into companion planting like I am might want to give this a whorl and see if it works?? Maybe in the future we can compare notes???

After all if you have ever been plagued by those pesky little varmints it's definitely worth a shot.
