Go to www.davewilson.com They grow lots of fruit and nut trees for the home gardener. They are also a supplier to groves. If you do a little snooping around (it is a great web site) on the left side you will see 'Almonds', click on that. They give descriptions of the Almonds and chill hours.
For us the most popular one is "All in One". It is a semi-dwarf tree that produces very well. Also it is 'self fertile' which means you don't have to have two different Almonds to produce good crops
