Agave attenuata variegata was created by Vicki B
I have been attempting to find a nursery in San Diego County- preferably North County, that carries this variegated form, with absolutely no luck. Can anyone tell me where they acquired a specimen?

One of the distributors of that plant is San Marcos Growers (located in Simi Valley). Several north county nurseries order plants from them, including Green Thumb, Anderson's, and Walter Andersen.

Thanks, I called The Plant Man; don't have any due to the frost last year- may recuperate by summer. Evidently they are quite pricey- like $150 she said. Why do I always fall for the expensive ones?

Green Thumb came through- in March I purchased a 5 inch for 19.98. Hope I don't kill it!:)
