is it too late in the season to fertilize blooming impatiens and flowering vines.

Hi Susie,

It is not too late to fertilize impatiens, as they are ever-blooming. The soil is cold in the winter, though, and plants are growing more slowly, so you can feed them now and then wait a month or two before feeding them again. As for flowering vines, what type of vines?

It is best to wait until late winter to fertilizer mandevilla--so start fertilizing the plant monthly in March through September.
