General Information

What a delightful shrub! Evergreen and colorful with wonderfully luxurious drooping clusters of softly fragrant creamy white flowers in spring. The leaves sport cream, pink, green and bronze, and is lovely as a foreground piece amongst decidous trees, or other taller evergreens. It will need some light protection from the more brutal triple-digit heat of the Summer, else you will have some leaf scorch. Mine is thriving at the edge of my pond with late afternoon filtered light. Requires excellent drainage for best performance, but is also relatively shallow rooted, so check watering needs. Grows 5' tall by 6' wide. Needs regular watering. Prefers good air circulation. As an added bonus, this shrub is also deer resistant! Beauty and function in one graceful plant.
