General Information
The many forms of Blue Fescue generally do well in Southern California, and can make an attractive informal ground cover. However, they can be weakened by hot summers, and older clumps have a tendency to die out in the centers. An annual late-winter shearing will help, as will the selection of more robust varieties such as 'Elijah Blue'.
