    Begonia sp. Richmondensis can be planted in the garden almost any time but it is much easier for the plant to establish in the garden if planted early spring.

    In the garden start watering after the normal rains have ended. It is better to water once a week and water deeply, than to water frequently for a few minutes. The soil should be moist but well drained. To not allow the soil to become soggy.
