General Information
LITTLE LIME is a dwarf form of the ever popular LIMELIGHT. This hardy dwarf hydrangea stands between 3 -5' tall and flowers every year, regardless of climate, soil, or pruning. Flowers open green, turn to creamy green-white and finally take on tones of pink, red, and burgundy with the onset of autumn. Flower color is unaffected by soil pH. Thrives in both medium to full sun locations. Prefers good, loamy soil. Prune in late winter/early spring. Medium moisture requirements. Feed in early spring by applying a granular slow release fertilizer. It is an excellent choice for those that love Limelight but have smaller yards. Great for perennial gardens, containers or for foundation plantings.

LITTLE LIME is a species of Hydrangea that blooms on new wood. Therefore, it can be pruned in winter. However, because of it's upright habit and good form, it does not necessarily require a yearly pruning. But, if you enjoy your time outdoors, it is never a bad idea to cut out crossing branches and dead wood.
