Ravenea rivularis (Majesty Palm) is considered a relatively easy to grow palm for indoor or outdoor settings. This palm prefers consistently moist soil and humid conditions. Can take shade. Often used as a houseplant, but it can grow up to 50 or 60 feet in the wild. Mature fruit is red in color and about 1/3 on an inch in size.
