Hybrid of apricot and plum. A multi-stemmed, shrubby, small tree with a spreading crown, reaching up to 20 feet tall. The fruit is an edible fleshy fruit, nearly round, pale green with pale red blush skin and crimson to amber flesh. Ripens in mid to late summer.
The first apricot and plum hybrids were made by Luther Burbank. 'Flavor Grenade Pluot requires as little as 300 chill hours.
