Description This cultivar of Salvia guaranitica can reach 6 ft. tall. Beautiful blue-violet tubular flowers with black calyces occur in late summer till frost and make very good "cuts". The plant dies back to its roots in winter.
General Comments Salvia is the largest genus in the mint family with some 900 species of annuals, perennials and soft-wooded shrubs, including culinary and medicinal herbs as well as garden ornamentals.
