The fig is a tropical looking tree or shrub with a dramatic spreading habit. The breadth is often wider than the height. The bark is a smooth, silvery gray with long deciduous leaves have 3 or 5 lobes. Excel is a yellow-green fig with amber flesh, fast growing and self fertile.
Figs usually begin bearing fruit within two to four years from cuttings.
