Short Leaf Aloe
This Aloe species is one of the more cold and moisture tolerant aloes. This compact plant has short and fat waxy blue leaves that are edged in small white spines. It looks like a huge hens and chicks and not an aloe. In time it offsets to form a large cluster of heads. Because of its size it makes a excellent edging plant in the dry garden.
