Description Lemon Verbena is a Semi deciduous, rapidly growing elegant shrub that can reach 15 feet with tropical conditions but most often 4 to 5 ft.nThe flowers are small, white, single and inconspicuous. Their airy feel is an elegant crowning point for the open form of the plant. The fragrant flowers are also used in tea and culinary concoctions.
General Comments It was introduced to European gardening by Spanish explorers who in the 17th Century brought specimens back from Argentina & Chile. The lemon verbena generally loses its leaves and shrivels at the end of the winter.
