Vegetable group including broccoli and cauliflower. Low with stout, short stem. Dense terminal head with thick, modified flower clusters over-topped by leaves. Tender to frost, heat and dryness.
Cool season crop which goes to seed in high heat. Grows best in cool weather prior to or after danger of frost.
