  • Biographical Information
    I live in Washington State. I've lived here for 20 years ,but I'm a formeer Californian,I live in the conversion zone so its reall hard to grow roses, I think I've mastered it.The soil has been really a challenge.I'm trying to grow some fruit trees ,but the weather and lack of sun isn't really on my side , but I'm very determined.

  • Do you have a gardening philosophy you would like to share with other gardeners? What is it?
    Experiment , buy what you like.
  • If you could grow only one plant, what would it be?
    I'd like to grow an Avocado Tree . but that won't happen here
  • What plant have you tried to grow that has given you the most trouble? Or, what plant would you like to grow and can't, and why?
    I really had a hard time with Clematis , but I got them going and they are just beautiful.

    Playing in my Koi pond

    I went to Buchart Gardens in Canada and I never wanted to leave.

    My parents . My mom grew Roses and my father was thew vegetable gardener
  • Gardening Dilemmas
    The weather here is difficult . Its very dampand the soil on my property has fungus in it so I've had to replace alot of soil to make my Roses grow.Also I 'm going tro have a green house next spring so I can start my vegetables early. Maybe they can get a head start.
  • What do you dislike most about gardening?
    Gee, thats a hard one.Not enough sunny days .
  • What do you like most about gardening?
    The satisfaction of seeing those first flowers bloming or a new plant thats not suppose to grow in this weather.

    It Use to be Cascade Nursery ,but its gone now.Now I like Sunny side Nursery
