What is your favorite gardening outfit or costume?
My husband laughs at me. I wear my oldest, and baggiest with a fishing hat. Wait till he sees me in the calf high rubber boot that I have my eye on! -
What is the one question about gardening you would really like people to ask you?
"I have horrible soil, what should I do." -
And what's the answer?
Go organic. My favorite products are John and Bobs, Dr. Earth, and homemade teas teaming with microbes -
Do you have a gardening philosophy you would like to share with other gardeners? What is it?
If you feed the soil, and not the plant, they will come. -
If you could grow only one plant, what would it be?
Lushious, huge, deep green ferns. I don't have the yard for it though. -
What plant have you tried to grow that has given you the most trouble? Or, what plant would you like to grow and can't, and why?
Gardenias have always been a problem for me, BUT, I now have two plants that are just thriving. Go figure. -
What is your favorite time in the garden?
The plan is to garden first thing in the morning. The trouble is, I usually end up spending to whole day in the garden. -
What is your favorite color in the garden?
Blue, blue, and more blue. Shades of purple are also good. -
What is your favorite place or activity in the garden?
My flower garden is almost the best place. It's so easy to keep up. But my very favorite place is sitting on my patio, checking out the fruits of my labor! -
What individual has influenced your gardening interest the most? How?
The Bonita Organic Garden Club. What little I know, I have learned from them. I love that I had the forsight to join an organic club. I am totally organic and have seen the results most especially in my soi. What was once solid yellow clay is now pretty good stuff teaming with worms. -

Designing, all oudoor projects such as building walls, garden shed, planting. I just like everything to do with expanding my garden and yard. -
