  • Biographical Information
    I have gardened and had house plants nearly my entire life. As a child I helped my Grandma and my Dad with outdoor gardens, As an adult, had flower and veggie gardens, but more recently, because of the poor quality soil (can rocks be concidered soil?) have become more inclined to have just flower gardens - 15 for an exact count. My home sits in an old gravel pit - great drainage , 1-2 inces of top soil then gravel. I have no formal education in gardening, just hands on knowledge. My greatest pleasure is giving plants and bulbs away. I live in a manufactured home park and have won the most beautiful yard several times.

    any grundgy that I don't care if it gets grundgier, easy slip off and on shoes for quick potty breaks, shades to protect the eyes and must have gloves!
