    A lot of clay soil, and coastal fog makes vegetable gardening difficult. My goal is to cultivate native plants with play areas for kids.

    Sowing, reaping, observing the circle of life,
    listening, planning, planting, watering, watching, weeding, singing, dreaming,
    seeing, smelling, tasting, pruning,
    turning, breathing, sweating, resting.

    My mother and our matriarchial heritage.

    Clay, Rust, Wind, Intense heat, areas of semi-annual shade, Need for low maintenance and low water.

    Resources for plants seem limited, but maybe this connection will help with that - used to just find a plant, take a pinch and grow.
