  • Biographical Information
    Our soil has a lot of caliche. Poor soil. I have a type of cloth ground cover with decorative rocks over it in the front yard. I move the rocks and cut the cover to plant bubls and perennials. This keeps the ground moist and it doesn's dry out.
    My back yard has imported top soil but I have not finished putting up the reataining walls and haven't started any herbs or vegetables.
    The north side of my house has an empty lot. Everything I planted, so far, has not survived. I just spent about $200.00 planting bulbs, daylilies, and some ground cover plants.
