Xeriscape = cactus and gravel -
And, what is the reality?
Xeriscape is a landscaping method with a goal of conserving water. This is often achieved through the use of native plants that are adapted to local conditions. While cacti can be incorporated into a xeriscape, many other plants exist to bring color and texture to the landscape. Water conservation techniques, such as mulching, aid in the development of a sustainable garden. -
Do you have a gardening philosophy you would like to share with other gardeners? What is it?
Creating sustainable landscaping that benefits wildlife is a major goal. Home landscapes should be pleasing to the eye, fun to be in and be designed so that a minimum of upkeep is needed. It is important to design the landscape with the owner's needs and interests in mind. -

I enjoy watching the wildlife that visits my garden. -
