Biographical Information
I’m a Seattlite with a passion for cultivating beautiful, functional, sustainable outdoor spaces. I’ve gardened, ranched, and farmed all over California, in Virginia and most recently in Seattle. I’m an award winning, professional landscape designer and professional garden coach (aka garden mentor, garden tutor or gardening consultant). I have a passion for teaching interested people of all gardening skill levels how to become more active and successful in their gardens, and I enjoy furthering my own gardening knowledge through continuing education, networking with other professionals and learning-by-doing. I do this through my Seattle, Washington-based garden coaching and garden design company, Garden Mentors Inc (http://www.gardenmentors.com)
I began the Garden Help blog (http://www.gardenhelp.org) as a way to journal about my observations and experiences in the garden — professionally and personally. And, I offer it as a way to share gardening knowledge with you.
