    Garden with nature and not against it. See the animals and insects as companions in helping you achieve your gardening vision. Garden for them and they will, in turn, help your garden.
  • If you could grow only one plant, what would it be?
    Roses
  • What is your favorite time in the garden?
    Late afternoon and dusk.
  • What is your favorite color in the garden?
    Blue and then red
  • What is your favorite place or activity in the garden?
    Puttering in the front garden in the afternoon when the sun has passed from directly overhead. Feeding the fish in the back garden while sitting under the shade of the plum tree.
  • What individual has influenced your gardening interest the most? How?
    My great grandfather, grandmother, and my mother. They passed on a legacy of gardening to me that is deeply entrenched in my genes.
  • What do you dislike most about gardening?
    Weeding. And in my zone, I don't ever get a break. Weeds grow 365 days a year!
  • What do you like most about gardening?
    Being outside with nature and feeling connected to the cycles of life. There is a different pace in the garden. It's a pace set by the Creator that makes the simplist of things meaningful and rich.
