  • Full Moon Yoga & Camping Retreat

    Friday, Sep 9, 6pm – Saturday, Sep 10, 8am

    The Garden welcomes you to enjoy nature after hours beneath the summer sky with yoga and mindful group practices led by instructor Lisa Griffiths, and moonrise fire circle led by Isabelle George LMFT. Celebrate community with sunset and sunrise yoga, nestle into nature, and stay overnight with indoor and outdoor camping options. Take a staycation and wellness adventure! All inclusive. (2-person tent rentals plus setup available as add on). 

    *Be one of the first 5 people to register and have your choice of pre-reserved outdoor campsites. Maps will be provided for the first 5 people registered.  

    Members $140 / Non-members $160

    Optional: $40 tent rental, setup, and breakdown (Max 7 tents available)


    ALL-INCLUSIVE

    1 night outdoor or “indoor” camping accommodations at The Water Conservation Garden

    Evening flow yoga & morning yoga rejuvenation with instructor Lisa Griffiths

    Therapeutic trail walking

    Sunrise meditation

    Full moon fire circle with Isabelle George, LMFT

    Connect to nature and enjoy spending time with positive and like-minded people

    Vegetarian dinner and light breakfast provided

    6pm-7:30pm

    Evening Flow Yoga & trail walk with Lisa Griffiths 

    8-8:30pm

    Dinner is served 

    8:30pm-9:30pm

    Full Moon fire circle with Isabelle

    Quiet hours begin and sweet dreams  

    Saturday, Sep. 10 

    6:30am- 7am

    Sunrise meditation (optional) 

    7-8am

    Rise and Shine Yoga  

    8-8:30am

    Breakfast and packup. 

     

    ACCOMODATIONS: 

    Outdoor camping - Rent a tent & setup by Boy Scouts. (Additional $40) 

    2-person tent.  

    Boy Scouts will set-up your tent from 5-5:30pm and breakdown your tent 8:30-9am. 

    Guests can arrive at 5:30pm to set items in your tent (please do not arrive before 5:30pm) 

    First 5 to register can choose their campsite.  

    Camping - bring your own tent. (included in ticket price) 

    Guest setup is 5:30-6pm at designated areas. 

    Bring your own gear: sleeping pad recommended, sleeping bag, pillow.  

    “Indoor” Camping - Education Center available for indoor camping (included in ticket price) 

    Bring a sleeping pad, pillow, sleeping bag, and any other items you need that fit in one overnight bag.  

     

    Additional rental gear available at limited supply (email Jillian@thegarden.org):  

    cot, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, camping chair 

     

    Restrooms 

    Onsite restroom facilities.  

     

    SAFETY 

    Staff members will be onsite. Parking lot swing gate, and entrance gates will close at the beginning of retreat.

    *You are welcome to attend the evening portion only, there is no re-entry for the morning portion of the retreat.

    Disclaimer: There is occasional wildlife at The Garden. Camping buddy-system always applies. Designated quiet hours will be observed for indoor and outdoor camping.

     

    WHAT TO BRING

    Yoga mat 

    Flashlight or headlamp 

    If outdoor camping (see above)  

    Lantern if you like to have light in or around your tent 

    Folding chairs are provided for the fire circle. You can bring your own camping chair if you prefer.  

    Empty mason jar with lid for “moon water.” You will be making your own moon water for sipping.  

    Journal (optional)  

    BYO-Fork, bring your own fork for meals 😊 We prefer not to purchase plastic. 

     

    Additional details will be sent to participants. You are strongly encouraged to “unplug.” However, we do have WI-FI and outlets for charging devices.
