Garden is in the title but it covers a wide array of tasty topics – art, food, drink, plants, eco tidbits, products, peeves, snipets from a cast of characters and guest bloggers, friendly banter and oodles of photos. It swirls around my love of nature and fascination of all things creative.
It’s sort of a “Seinfeld” of blogs … about nothing too specific or technical but with alot to say and see.
We're a company based in the garden-lush seaside city of Santa Barbara, California which believes that Mother Nature is a beauty queen--and so are you! Founded in 2010 by Nell Foster, a professional gardener and lover of beauty and style, she realized that every gardener deserves to feel as gorgeous as her most beloved blossoms.
Joy Us is devoted to using sustainable and eco-conscious fabrics and notions to create the most stylish, sturdy and functional gardening apparel and accessories available. Nell has poured her lifetime of gardening experience into designing products that are chic and functional (Need a hidden pocket? She's thought of it!). A lover of blue jeans (what gardener isn't?) she decided that rich, wearable, and long-lasting denim would be our signature fabric.
Our products are so stylish that we're even seeing them beyond the garden wall, in yoga studios, at Farmer's Markets and lots of places in between.
We're proud that all of our products are made right here in the USA! We make a point of working with suppliers and manufacturers that are as close as possible (preferably just a short, scenic coastal drive away) and share our values of sustainability and integrity.
