Colin Elliott is an English garden designer turned horticultural professor how has recently turned his back on nearly 40 years of UK gardening and now lives quietly with his wife and poodle in central France.
In between learning a new language, he teaches, designs and gardens, while still finding time to visit gardens and gardeners throughout France.
He loves the wine, the weather and most other aspects of his new life.
